Changes to my Policy

How can I cancel my motor insurance policy?

We are sorry to see you go! You can cancel your Policy with 7 days of written notice. Termination of Policy shall become effective after the request form is received by the Company. You are entitled to a refund of prorated premium as long as there had been no claims during the current Period of Insurance. Premium refund will be processed within 2 weeks.

How do I update information on my insurance policy?

Any changes to the policy, including sum insured, the details of the insured car, and/or information about the named drivers, should be provided to us at your earliest convenience in order for your Policy to remain effective.

How do I add another named driver(s) on to my policy?

You can name up to a total of 4 Named Drivers including the main named driver.

I just sold my car, what should I do with my insurance policy?

If you sold your car, you can cancel your Policy with 7 days of written notice. You are also entitled to a refund of the prorated premium as long as there had been no claims during the current Period of Insurance.

Renewal

What happens after my policy expires?

For policies purchased on or after 30 July 2026: To ensure you stay protected, your policy will automatically renew for another year. We will send you a renewal notice at least 21 days before your policy ends with all the policy details (including the renewal premium and instructions on how to opt out). To keep things easy for you, the premium will be safely and automatically charged to your credit card through our secure, encrypted payment partner.

If you decide not to renew, please notify us in writing (including by email) at least 7 days before your policy expires , and your coverage will simply end at the end of your current term.

If your renewal premium cannot be collected from your credit card, your policy will not be renewed and all cover will cease at the end of your current term.

For policies purchased before 30 July 2026: We will send you a renewal notice at least 21 days before your policy expiry date, setting out your policy details and instructions on how to renew your policy through our online renewal portal.

Why can’t I see the Sum Insured on my renewal?

We understand the importance of accurately insuring your car without overcharging you. That's why we employ a concept known as Market Value, which helps us ensure that your car is insured as close as possible to its true worth.
